Chatham Artists Guild is thrilled to join Smelt Art Gallery. The first in the series of 3D and 2D exhibits will open with a reception Sunday, February 5th, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. “Love is in the Air! – Jewelry for your Special Someone” showcases the distinctive work of three artists. “Landscapes, Real & Imagined – Paintings and Drawings for Your Special Spaces” displays the visions of fourteen artists. Reception goers will enjoy an Open Mic music session hosted by Michael Brennan from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. The exhibits are on view from February 2nd – March 28th. The Smelt Art Gallery is located at 213 Lorax Lane at The Plant, the Chatham Beverage District on the east side of Pittsboro. Open Sun.: 12pm – 6pm, Mon. / Tue./ Wed.: 10am-8pm Thur./Fri: 10am-10pm, Sat.: 12pm-10pm.
Chatham Artist Guild Studio Tour 2022 The 30th Annual Chatham Artists Guild Studio Tour will, once again, welcome visitors into member artists’ studios in 2022. This enduring tradition here in Chatham County will offer a safe, enjoyable way to meet artists, learn about the creative process, and purchase beautiful works of art. To ensure your safety, masks, social distancing and hand sanitizing will be required for all visitors and there will be limits on the number of guests in the studio at one time.
